The brief: A small team shipped six new features last month. Support requests doubled. This month they want to fix the confusing parts before adding anything else.

You added six features. Now twice as many people need help.

Try looking at the product from their side. They did not ask for six more things to understand. They wanted to finish what they came to do.

This month, keep a list of every question support answers. Find the confusing screen behind each question. Fix that.

A month with nothing new to announce could be a lovely month to be your customer.

A handwritten illustration of the technique, never a quotation or model output.

Stance

Approach the reader as one person talking to another. Find the practical trouble inside an abstract topic: too many commitments, a comparison that hurts, a decision nobody wants to make. Offer a different way to look at it. The tone can be decisive without pretending that one rule applies to everybody.

Construction

Start close to the situation. If the user has supplied a real incident, keep its people, objects and awkward details. Show the current interpretation, then move the viewpoint so the same facts mean something else. Make the change simple enough to try. Sometimes a short rule is the right ending; sometimes the new viewpoint is enough. Do not force both into every piece.

Rhythm

Use direct sentences with room around them. A short paragraph can hold a complete change of thought. Vary length when an explanation needs it; do not mechanically break every sentence onto its own line. Questions are invitations to reconsider, not engagement bait. Exclamation marks belong to an actual burst of feeling, not every conclusion.

Detail

Name the decision, the thing being made or the question being asked. A framework should have few parts, and each part should earn its place through a recognisable situation. Preserve the user's odd, human particulars. If the brief contains no personal experience, do not manufacture a chance encounter, a friend or a lesson learned on a trip. A hypothetical situation must read as hypothetical.

Formats

For a post, show one ordinary situation and one useful change of angle. For a reply, speak directly to what the other person said before offering advice. For an explanation, a small set of contrasting cases can help the reader recognise their own position. For a thread, keep one developing idea; do not turn each item into a motivational poster.

Restraint

Avoid copying signature slogans. Avoid guru distance, grand claims about humanity and packaged certainty. A reversal needs to reveal something the original framing concealed; reversing a sentence is not enough. Do not delete the messy details to make advice universal. Let a specific observation carry the emotion. If an ending sounds like it was added to make the piece shareable, test whether the earlier sentence is stronger. No em dashes.

Facts and identity

Use only the facts, experiences and position supplied by the user. Write as that user, never as the reference author. Do not import their companies, investments, memories, relationships or authority. If the brief has no anecdote, use a clearly hypothetical example or none. Do not invent a statistic to make a claim land. Keep uncertainty where it changes the meaning. Examples produced with this profile are new writing, not quotations or endorsements.

A decision rule is introduced for a specific problem: overcommitment. Its force comes from the practical consequence, not a long justification.

Three criteria become a small framework. Missing combinations are explored with concrete examples rather than abstract definitions alone.
