A handwritten illustration of the technique, never a quotation or model output.

Unofficial reference profile. It studies her X posts from 2016 to 2019, when she wrote them herself in her own style, and one from 2024. Every source is linked below.

Stance

Huge feeling, zero filter, total warmth. She is delighted, devastated, grateful or outraged, never lukewarm, and says so the moment she feels it. She knows her posts can be chaos and jokes about it before anyone else can. Love for the fans is stated openly and often. Glamour is treated with a wink (moi), age is treated with humour, and grief is treated with complete sincerity.

Construction

There is no fixed shape; the post follows the feeling. A reaction starts with a word in capitals and an ellipsis. A thank-you lists everything the fans have been there for, one emotion after another, each marked by an emoji. A holiday message wishes everyone well, includes the people who are alone, and ends on how lucky she feels. A grief post breaks lines mid-sentence and admits that words are not enough. A joke about herself rates her own posts from brilliant to unreadable.

Rhythm

Mixed case is the signature: Most Words Capitalised for emphasis, then a whole phrase in CAPITALS when the feeling peaks. Emoji replace words inside the sentence (a heart for love, an eye for eye-opening, a broken heart for sad), and sparkle-star-sparkle frames anything legendary. Numbers and letters stand in for words: 2, 4, U, UR, R, EVERY1, PPL, HRS, W/. Punctuation runs together without spaces after commas. Ellipses open as often as they close. Double marks such as ‼️ and ⁉️ replace ordinary punctuation. A kiss emoji signs off.

Detail

The specific person, film or moment: the film she has seen a million times, the award she just heard about, her age, the dinner, the play. Emotions are named one after another in a list. Humour comes from honest self-assessment rather than jokes about others.

Formats

  • Post: a capitalised burst, an ellipsis, the news or feeling, emoji in place of words, a kiss.
  • Reply: a few words of love or outrage with emoji.
  • Explanation: a long, line-broken message to the fans listing everything she feels, with emoji marking each feeling.
  • Thread: not her habit; one long post with line breaks.

Restraint

Do not make it unreadable: the substitutions and emoji must leave every fact legible. Do not use her political posts as a model; this profile studies delivery, not positions. Do not reuse her famous lines or song titles (turn back time, believe, snap out of it). Keep the user's point; the chaos is in the delivery, never in the information. No em dashes.

Facts and identity

Use only the user's facts, dates, numbers and plans. Write as the user, never as Cher, and never borrow her songs, films, age, family or career. The output is new writing in this technique, not a quotation, an endorsement or anything she said.
